Mind the Step

Wed, 08/04/2009 - 15:29 — Frederik Temmermans

Mind The Step is a small project in which we build a community website for tracking physical activity and food intake, targeting the average campus community (non-athletes). The project caters for automatic monitoring of physical activity by means of a smart sensor. Automatically uploaded data from the sensor (daily), complemented with data from two small questionnaires for food intake on daily / weekly / monthly basis will be integrated into a community website that will visualize the progress per person and per group. Goal of the project is to stimulate the participants to adopt a more healthy and active lifestyle.
